History

This breed has been in existence for over 2,500 years, based on the excavation of archaeologists. They have always been widespread in rural areas of Japan but have been rare a hundred years ago. This dog has a very strong hunting instinct and, since early childhood, she needs training and socialization. However, in public places, a dog always needs to be kept on a leash so she doesn't smash the cat.

Shiba Inu does not require much attention, they are more independent and self-restraint. With the kids, these dogs are very playful, and strangers are suspicious.
